Career Development Manager
Kara Johnson is a double alumna of CSU, earning a B.A. in Art and an M.Ed. in Counseling and Career Development. As Career Development Manager for the College of Health and Human Sciences, Kara provides in-depth career counseling and coaching to a diverse population of students and alumni. Her action oriented approach to career development helps individuals identify their core values, interests and strengths, giving them the tools and self-confidence to explore possibilities and achieve personal and professional satisfaction. She has developed strong relationships with faculty, staff, employers and community members and helps connect students to opportunities through a variety of services, programs and resources.
Career Development Counselor
Erica Maestas is currently a master’s student of the Counseling and Career Development program with an emphasis on Career Counseling. She has served as a Career Development Specialist at the CSU Career Center for the past 2 years and has a passion for assisting students in their career adventures through exploring their strengths, interests, values, and experiences.
