Wide Open Exhibit - Fall 2022
Wide Open showcased, 26 senior Product Development students who are challenging how we design clothing to create comprehensive garments for all. These garments are inclusive of traditionally marginalized consumer groups.

Inclusive Capstone Collection
Students were challenged to create an inclusive capstone collection of five pieces that serve the needs of an underrepresented target market, such as people with disabilities and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Envisioning the title of the exhibition
Our branding work was inspired by the Paralympics. We created the title for the exhibit, Wide Open, and designed various elements of the physical exhibition. The market for adaptive and inclusive apparel is “wide open.”

Exhibiting Student Work
From Dec. 6-15, 2022, the student’s projects were on exhibit at the Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising.

Fall 2022 Featured Student Projects
Novel and innovative product ideas were awarded through financial awards. Sponsored in whole from Cotton Incorporated, each award was judged by a panel of industry professionals.
