- To refine and evaluate a universal, preventive, and teacher-administered curriculum to promote social-emotional competence.
- Builds on Izard’s evidence-based Emotions Course (2004; Izard, Fine, Mostow, Trentacosta, & Campbell (2002)
- Modified to enhance coverage of social emotions—shame, jealousy, and empathy/compassion
- Modified to add mindfulness-based activities
- Modified to add executive function activities
