The research focus of the MNR laboratory is:
- To understand the neural mechanisms underlying impaired movement control.
- To understand the impact of impaired movement control on everyday function including bimanual coordination, over-ground walking and driving.
- To develop rehabilitation interventions for improving function in individuals with stroke and transient ischemic attack.
Our work is currently supported by American Heart Association and National Institutes of Health.
- We are currently recruiting graduate students at both the Masters and Ph.D. level.
