The next few pages will guide you through submitting the Occupational Therapy Departmental application materials that are required to apply for the professional master's program.

To be fully considered, be sure to complete the application process by January 5th, 2018.

OT Master's Admissions Essay Directions:

  • Create a PDF or Word document that contains a written essay in response to the prompt below.
  • The document should follow these requirements:
    • 12 pt. font
    • double-spaced
    • 1 in. margins
    • Maximum word count: 300 words.
  • Save the document to your computer. Do not include your name on your document.
  • When prompted later in the process, upload your saved essay document to this site.

Prompt: Reflect on experiences you have had with someone different from yourself based on culture, race, ethnicity, age, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity, political orientation, or socioeconomic status. Describe how this experience of knowing or interacting with this person over time has taught you something about yourself in terms of becoming a more reflective person, impacting your ability to be open-minded, or broadening your world view.
