Grandchild Program

Join us for The GRANDcares Youth Club, designed for youth ages 9 – 12 who are being raised by a grandparent! This six-week program is based on 4-H principles and an age-appropriate modification of the Powerful Tools for Caregivers – Grandfamilies curriculum. The program is filled with fun activities to help youth become leaders, learn about themselves, and connect with others!

• Classes meet at the same time as the grandparent groups.
• For youth between the ages of 9 to 12 years.
• In addition to training on self-care and leadership, youth plan a grandparent-grandchild self-care day to celebrate completion of the program.
