- Grand Family Coalition, Inc. is a non-profit organization that supports Kinship Families by providing social groups, day time support groups, mentor programs, and family oriented activities.

- Kids at Heart is a non-profit agency that aids foster, adoptive, and kinship families through respite services in order to support the success of the family. Every other Saturday Kids at Heart holds fundango nights where families can drop their kids off for a couple hours for a much deserved break. We take kids from 0-17 years old, feed them dinner, and participate in fun activities. In the summer we run teen camps. and family camps. - Larimer County Human Services offer a variety of benefits for families, including Grandparents (or other relatives) raising children. Some of these include Relative Caregiver TANF, Food Assistance, Medicaid, Medicare Savings Program (MSP), Old Age Pension (OAP), and Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP).

- LCOA provides direct services, funds community partners, and provides leadership in the planning and coordination of services for older and disabled adults in Larimer County. This includes information and assistance for aging and disability resources, options counseling to better understand long term care services and supports, benefits counseling to help with Long Term Care Medicaid and Medicare savings program applications, family caregiver support, and long term care ombudsman for residents in assisted living and nursing homes.

- Namaqua Center’s Grandfamily Support Program provides ongoing outreach, case management assistance and support at no cost to grandparents raising grandchildren in Larimer County. The Family Support Program also provides community based services for at-risk children and families including coaching and mentoring, respite, after school programming (The Spot), and summer camp.

- Growing Home began in 1998 as a community based shelter that served 30 families per year. Over years of research and observation Growing Home developed its wrap-around approach to better serve the whole needs of low-income families. Growing Home transforms lives by Nurturing Children, Strengthening Families and Creating Community. This comprehensive approach allows Growing Home to address the needs of the whole person, whole family and whole community, to reach fuller and longer lasting outcomes. All programs and services are offered in English and Spanish.

- Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Denver has been serving northern Colorado since 1927. They are open to all and serve all people. Family and Kinship Services provide kinship care to relatives raising children, home based counseling, and early childhood education and mental health services. They have 8 established kinship support groups through the Kinship Caregiver Program. The Adams County group meets the 2nd Thursday of every month from 10a-12p at Margaret Carpenter Recreation Center located at 11151 Colorado Blvd, Thornton, CO 80233.

- Family Tree is committed to help individuals, families and communities. Through a collaborative program between Adams County and Douglas County Human Services eligible families are connected to community services and provided with referrals, case management, and sometimes financial assistance to help with the challenges of caring for a relative’s child

- The Colorado Kinship Connection website is operated by the Division of Child Welfare Services in the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS). The website provides information and resources to kinship caregivers across Colorado.

- The Colorado Respite Coalition (CRC) offers resources and information to family caregivers throughout the state of Colorado. CRC provides training opportunities, respite vouchers, community grants, advocacy, an online respite locator, and more. CRC strives to increase access to and awareness of quality respite services across the lifespan.

- This website was created with the goal of providing useful resources and reliable, current information on health, education, legal, and parenting resources for grandparents that have taken on the role as primary caregiver for their grandchildren.

- The Office on Aging in Maui County is a great resource, you can visit their website or visit one of their office locations. Their compassionate staff members conduct outreach, refer clients to appropriate service agencies, and provide information and assistance to families in need of services.
- Senior Legal Hotline, Legal Aid Society of Hawai’i

- If you are 60 or older, you may call the Senior Legal Hotline for free advice. Full legal representation is not necessarily provided, but the hotline is for open for counseling Monday-Friday. It is a great resource for grandparents raising their grandchildren and may have questions about legal rights and other issues. You may access www.legalaidhawaii.org for general information.

- Ohana Caregivers is also affiliated with the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, Extension Services. They were established in 2016 with the goal to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life of ‘Ohana Caregivers in Hawai‘i.

- The Foundation’s first program was its free traveling preschool, Tūtū and Me, established in 2001 through the U.S. Department of Education in cooperation with the Association of Hawaiian Evangelical Churches of the United Church of Christ. Recognizing the role of grandparents raising Hawaiian children, the program sent teaching teams to underserved communities to help meet the developmental needs of these young children and support the grandparents and other care-givers in this task.
