Our team provides family-centered and comprehensive assessments for youth and families who have experienced multiple and complex traumas. Our assessments are strength based and collaborative in nature and reflect the impact of trauma on a youth’s neurodevelopment, relationships, self-concept, and day-to-day functioning. We provide creative recommendations focused on building mastery, relationships, and self-regulation. It is our goal to help shift each youth’s trajectory towards a future that is safer, healthier, and happier!
CTRAC trains community members, providers, agencies, and organizations in trauma and resilience assessments, trauma-informed care, the impact of trauma, and how to use trauma-informed/resilience-based practices with children and families. Additionally, we provide training for the next generation of care providers through our Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program.
CTRAC clinicians consult with professionals in the community to offer a trauma-informed lens through which to support children, adults, and families. During consultation, recommendations to support healing are co-created.
