Undergraduate Student Internship
Ideal For

What You’ll Do
- Assist with trauma and resilience assessments
- Work with youth ages 4-17 and their families
- Collaborate with FRC staff, faculty, and students
- Support case documentation and record keeping
- Participate in a professional clinical environment

Commitment
- Available Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Student Rotation
Ideal For
Graduate students in the CSU Marriage and Family Therapy program.
What You’ll Do
As a secondary clinician, you’ll participate in FRC assessments and develop specialized clinical skills.
Skills You’ll Develop
- Administering cognitive screens and surveys
- Conducting psychosocial interviews
- Writing psychosocial summaries and reports
- Participating in family and professional feedback meetings
- Understanding legal and ethical considerations
- Distinguishing assessment from therapy
- Applying trauma-informed care principles
- Managing secondary traumatic stress
Advanced Opportunities
Students who excel during the rotation may be invited to continue developing advanced assessment and report-writing skills as opportunities become available.
