About the PRC
The Prevention Research Center (PRC) is a trans-disciplinary center committed to studying the development, implementation, and evaluation of effective intervention programs that promote individual and family health and wellness. The center’s programs aim to reduce the risk for issues such as substance abuse, physical and mental health issues, violence, and problems of aging. This fund supports the programs and activities of the PRC.

Professor David MacPhee spent his 30-year career acting in multiple service roles and conducting research. This fund brings to campus national and international experts in the area of prevention science.
