Youth Sports Camp at SPUR General Overview

The CSU Spur Camps are a ten-week program, with the 2025 camp season running from June 9 through August 15. 

The SPUR Camps welcomes children between the ages of 5 and 13. Camps run from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The SPUR Camp

Our CSU Spur Camps are designed to promote healthy lifestyles through active and educational programming. Each one-week session contains three full days of physical activity programming, focusing on healthy activities, skill development, and teamwork. Common activities include basketball, soccer, flag football, and other team-based sports. Each camp week also includes a full-day trip to Colorado State University’s Spur Center, a free educational destination in Denver focused on food, water, and health research and innovation. Further, each week features a full-day trip to the main CSU Campus in Fort Collins, where campers will participate in health, design, construction management, or other educational activities.

General Camp Timelines

Camps will be full-day sessions held from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily. Campers can arrive after 9:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 5:30 p.m.

Campers should bring a water bottle and sunscreen every day, and a sack lunch Monday through Thursday. Free lunch is also available.  Pizza will be provided for lunch on Fridays at CSU.

Registration for the SPUR Camps opens on February 1, 2025.

Fees Cost Per Session

  • All one-week camps are free and available by invitation only.  Upon registration, parents are required to pay a $50 deposit per session, which is refunded if the camper attends the entire week of camp.
  • Please note: Credit card payments can only be made using your online account. We cannot take credit card payments in person or over the phone.
