Learning Spaces Learning in Action

Human Performance Clinical Research Lab

In the HPCRL, we have specialized laboratories and high-tech scientific equipment to support mentoring of undergraduate and master’s students, as well as doctoral students in the Human Bioenergetics Ph.D. program.

Health and Exercise Science Teaching Facility

The HES Teaching Facility features a large classroom and lab with technology that can be configured for different workgroups. We teach lab sections of the physiology of exercise, biomechanics, and neurophysiology in the building.

The Heart Disease Prevention Program has been successfully implemented in fire protection and law enforcement agencies across the state.

Our Adult Fitness Program is a great way for our community members to stay fit. And the program gives our students clinical and research experience.

Fit Cancer

Fit Cancer is a supportive group-based exercise program designed for cancer survivors at any phase of the cancer journey.

Youth Sport Camps

Started in 1970, the Colorado State University Youth Sport Camps are a summer-long series of active lifestyle camps in Fort Collins, Colorado.

  • 9/10 of Health and Human Sciences students would choose CSU again
  • 83% of Health and Exercise Science students had a job or were continuing education within six months of graduation
  • 100% of students in the Health Promotion concentration complete an internship
