- The Health and Exercise Science minor provides a flexible curriculum to enhance understanding of integrative human health.
- This minor may be useful for students studying a number of disciplines, including Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science and Human Nutrition, Human Development and Family Studies, Psychology, and others.
- The Health and Exercise Science minor will enhance student preparedness for graduate programs and careers in the health, fitness or clinical settings.
- The HES minor requires 7 courses for a total of 21 credits. Additional coursework may be required due to prerequisites.

How do I Declare the Minor?
To declare the Health and Exercise Science minor, please fill out our minor declaration form online. Once received, look out for an email from the Office of Registrar to confirm your minor declaration.
It may take up to five business days to process your minor declaration; You will receive an email from the Registrar’s office that you will need to accept to agree that you want to declare the minor. Once accepted, it will take up to one week to see the update in the RamWeb system. No course overrides will be given while your minor declaration is being processed.
