As we finish some large projects, we are transitioning our volunteer opportunities to better reflect the needs of the museum. We welcome anyone who would like to become a volunteer to participate in any capacity that fits their schedule!
Make and Mend Facilitator
Share your sewing knowledge at our monthly Make & Mend events! During these drop-in style events, community members bring in textile and mending projects of all types and sometimes need assistance. Our Make & Mend Facilitators help support all types of textile projects to the best of their ability. You don’t have to be an expert- we are all learning together- but some basic sewing and mending knowledge is helpful. Make & Mends happen the first Saturday of every month; sign up to be a facilitator today!
Special Assignments
Sometimes we have a museum project that needs a dedicated time commitment or a requires a specific skill. If you are interested in volunteering for more involved tasks at the museum, please fill out this interest form to help us connect museum tasks with your specific skill set!
