Outreach and Engagement
In keeping with our land-grant heritage, we provide a broad range of outreach and engagement programs and activities through our Centers, Institutes, Programs, and Services. Colorado State University is connected to the community through the Division of Engagement and Extension.
Centers, Institutes, Programs, and Services
The CSU College of Health and Human Sciences engages with the community through our many Centers, Institutes, Programs, and Services. From youth enrichment, to exercise and fitness, healthy eating, and programs for neurodiverse individuals, we offer a large range of research-based opportunities for community members.
Engagement
Our faculty members have established partnerships with businesses, industries, nonprofits, and government agencies across Colorado. These partnerships provide work and internship environments for students and provide education and services to our community.
Extension
A key component of a land-grant institution is translating research in a way that our community can use and understand. Our college works with CSU Extension to do this.
Our Extension specialists work with Extension agents and various agencies throughout Colorado to provide research-based educational programs and information designed to help improve the health and welfare of individuals and families.
