“Clothes with some adornment are more interesting to look at and more fun to wear.” – Arnold Scaasi.  Fashion designer Arnold Scaasi created fashionably chic clothing from the mid to late 20^th century.  His clients ranged from celebrities to socialites and the political elite.  A dazzling collection of glamorous evening wear and stylishly smart daywear from the permanent collection of the Avenir Museum will be on view during the spring of 2022.

Girl Powder

Girl Powder is a portfolio and capsule collection of 7 complete snow sport looks that embrace athleticism and functionality while holding femininity at the crux. Informed by qualitative methodology, including observation and interviews, Girl Powder Collection and Portfolio addresses the need in the outdoor apparel market for ski apparel designed, fitted, constructed, and produced for women by women with emphasis and celebration of the female form and preferences.
