Animal-assisted therapies harness the instinctive power of the human-animal bond. HABIC teams help build trust, strengthen relationships, and facilitate the therapeutic process.

Our 170+ volunteer animal therapy teams work with people of all ages in hospitals, schools, assisted living facilities, mental health care centers, and many other places.

HABIC is a nonprofit center in Colorado State University’s School of Social Work. Meet the HABIC administrative team.
