Consider a gift to HABIC
For 30 years – since 1993 – the Human-Animal Bond in Colorado center, part of Colorado State University’s School of Social Work, has been working to improve the quality of life for people of all ages through the therapeutic benefits of companion animals. HABIC-trained human-animal teams provide animal-assisted intervention services in communities. Students and professionals learn techniques specific to animal-assisted therapy and interventions in a graduate certificate program. HABIC research helps improve the lives of those they serve.
As the number of lives touched by HABIC increases, so does the demand for community outreach, education, and research programs focused on animal-assisted interventions. HABIC relies on the financial support of the community to fulfill its mission, and your contribution, of any amount, is appreciated greatly. Thank you for considering a gift to support HABIC.
