Shelby E. McDonald, Ph.D, M.S.W., has officially stepped into the role of director of Human-Animal Bond in Colorado – HABIC, part of Colorado State University’s School of Social Work. As an associate professor and the inaugural Sarama Bliss Endowed Chair in Human–Animal Interaction, McDonald is leading efforts to expand HABIC’s reach through research, education, and community engagement.
