Learning, Agency, and Belonging CO-LAB
CO-LAB stands for Creating Opportunities for Learning, Agency, and Belonging. The OT Share CO-LAB is a student-run clinic that provides community-based programming to promote health and wellbeing. The CO-LAB initiative partners with local organizations and community non-profits to expand access to occupational therapy through collective experiential learning, meaningful engagement in co-occupations, and inclusive collaborative partnerships.
Teaching and Learning
OT 750 community-engaged learning experiences include needs assessments and program proposals. Examples of past projects include:
- Level I and Level II Fieldwork student experiences
- Capstone student projects, including restructuring of the OT Garden Group into a student-run clinic and program development and evaluation

- The Great Outdoors Club Student-Run Clinic – A collaboration with Chill and Shine Adult Day Programs
- Peer Collaborator Leadership Program – A collaboration with the Center for Community Partnerships

Health, Well-being, and Community Engagement Chill
Community-academic partnership and initiative that aims to expand access to occupational therapy for local community-based adult day program by supporting health, well-being, and meaningful community engagement for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
