Ashlynn Archer

Ashlynn Archer is a first-generation scholar, and a Colorado native in the interior architecture and design program. Growing up, she was aware of her passion for design and her desire to pursue sustainable commercial design for the built environment. She wants to pursue hospitality design after graduating so she may travel the world and experience other architectural styles.

Jaehwan Baek

Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Jaehwan (David) is currently a senior at Colorado State University and in the Interior and Architecture & Design program. He served in the Korean army, which was a precious experience in his life.

Chelsey Beardsley

A nontraditional student from Anchorage, Alaska, Chelsey also double minors in Construction Management as well as Design Thinking. Her minors and previous professional design experience in Alaska have ignited a passion for large-scale commercial projects and she aspires to be part of project management and administration through her design career.

Kierston Bridges

Growing up I have always had a strong connection to design and its impact on people, whether it be through interiors or other art forms. I will be graduating with a Bachelor Science degree in Interior Architecture and Design with a minor in Business Administration.

Zoe Bullock

Zoe has expanded her education with a focus area in Social Work and is the President of the Design & Merchandising Leadership Team. She believes design should support healing, cultivate meaningful relationships, strengthen communities, and that well-designed spaces should be a standard for all, not just a luxury for some.

Jayla Cantu

Originally from Colorado, Jayla came to CSU as a first generation student to pursue her passion in Interior Architecture & Design. In addition to IAD, Jayla also pursued a minor in Global Environmental Sustainability. She hopes to make a positive impact on the built environment while also contributing to the future of sustainable design.

Martha Cappanno

I’m Martha, a Colorado native and mom to 2 amazing sons. I’m an Interior Architecture graduate, and I love design. I love meaningful design and am excited to pursue a career in Commercial Interior Design. I’m a believer in others and being an encourager to those around me gives me purpose!

I am from China, a graduate of architecture and design in the section. I am passionate about interior design and I believe that human beings will never stop pursuing beauty, the beauty of decoration belongs to the user and the beauty of creativity belongs to the designer.

Maya Davis

Hi, I’m Maya Davis. I will be graduating in the spring with both an Interior Architecture and Design degree and an Art degree. I am extremely passionate about design and art and my persistence through my studies at CSU have proved that I will thrive outside of the college setting!

Cathy Dodin Thevenau

Originally from Mauritius, I moved to Colorado to pursue my passion for design. I am a first-generation college student majoring in Interior Architecture & Design and minoring in Construction Management. I am driven by the desire to design interior spaces that bring enjoyment and enrichment to everyone.

As a first-generation college student she has utilized her passion for making a difference as a way to influence her design decisions. I have always wanted a career where I could help people as well as use creativity, so I chose to pursue my education in Interior architecture and design. I enjoy the feeling of being in a well-designed space and I look forward to creating that same experience for others.

Rebecca Graese

Rebecca is a fifth-generation Coloradoan passionate about the outdoors and design. In addition to her IAD degree, she rekindled her love for tangible projects through the Design Thinking Certificate. IIDA, CSU’s Design Library, and ASL lent themselves to valuable leadership and community engagement opportunities, which she hopes to continue.

Earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture and Design with a double minor in Business Administration and Real Estate has been the most challenging, yet rewarding achievement. Gabi Labovitz

Gabrielle Labovitz will receive a B.S. in Interior Architecture and Design, with a minor in Construction Management and certificate in Design Thinking. Under her leadership, CSU’s ASID chapter was awarded the 2022 Student Chapter of the Year. She is deeply passionate about healthcare facilities, with specific interests in medical planning and administration.

Inspired by her grandfather, an architect. Kirsten’s family history and background in fine arts has inspired her to combine these passions into pursuing a degree in interior architecture and design. She is a talented individual having earned a fine art scholarship to SCAD as well as earning certificates in hand rendering from ASID.

Chenyi is an undergraduate student majoring in Interior Architecture & Design with a minor in Construction Management. I am a designer from Minnesota also studying anthropology. I plan to combine these majors to take a human centric view on design. I want the design to be centered around the client and around the human experience. I hope to work in healthcare and education design in the future.

My name is Piper and I have been creating my entire life. From Lego models to architectural models, this passion has driven me through life. Here I am now, 22 years old, and soon to be graduating from the IAD program at CSU. With my degree I hope to become a licensed LEED accredited architect.
