Established in 1993 in the School of Social Work, Human-Animal Bond in Colorado sponsors animal therapy programs, education, and research to explore and advance the benefits of the human-animal bond.

The Social Work Research Center works to improve the lives of vulnerable children and families in Colorado and across the nation through community partnerships, applying research to practice in the areas of child maltreatment prevention, child well-being, and youth-at-risk.

Empowering YOUth Summer Program

Empowering YOUth allows middle-schoolers to explore the many facets of social work and the positive impact social workers make on their communities.  Participants in this program will create their own advocacy projects, connect with awesome new friends, meet social workers in the community, and have a blast learning, creating, and growing!
