Our Mission
In accordance with our accrediting body, the Council on Social Work Education, and the Code of Ethics of our profession as guided by the National Association of Social Workers, the School of Social Work strives to create an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and liberatory learning community. We prepare leaders who demonstrate excellence in practice, research, advocacy, and community engagement across local and global settings.

Council on Social Work Education
All Council on Social Work Education accredited programs measure and report student learning outcomes. Students are assessed on their mastery of the competencies which comprise the accreditation standards of the Council on Social Work Education. These competencies are dimensions of social work practice which all social workers are expected to master during their professional training.
