Quality Testing & Service Laboratories
The Fermentation Science and Technology program has multiple third-party testing capabilities from malt quality testing to microbiological and analytical analysis of fermented food and beverage samples. The two labs that execute these testing services are the Malt Quality Testing Laboratory and the Custom Service Laboratory.

Scientific Suds Newsletter
Scientific Suds is a monthly e-newsletter the FST program produces. It provides additional educational tidbits relating to the fermentation industry, while keeping readers up to date on current happenings at CSU, the FST program, and along the Front Range. Professional Organization Involvement
The FST program collaborates with the American Society of Brewing Chemists, Master Brewers Association of the America, the Brewers Association, and the Colorado Brewers Guild to create opportunities for students as well as industry members.
