From the Department Head Welcome to Food Science and Human Nutrition at CSU!
Our department’s mission is to illuminate the role of food and nutrition in the health of society through education, research, outreach, and service. We provide undergraduate and graduate students with enriching, inclusive, and interactive academic experiences that prepare them for numerous careers in health, food science, and hospitality. Our faculty members are leaders in their fields and both undergraduate and graduate students have opportunities to gain valuable hands-on research and clinical experience that can set them apart when they enter the job field. With these resources, our goal is to help our students uncover their passion and foster their potential to become leaders in their fields and their communities. Please let me know if you have any questions about our department.
