Ink Printing Information

Ink printing includes large format printing (paper, banner, sticker materials), fabric printing (100% natural fibers or 50%+ polyester blends), and UV printing.

Screen Printing Information

The RDC is a prototype (versus production) facility. To be able to maintain staffing and remain a teaching lab, we ask all screen printing services to be limited to a maximum of two (2) color designs and ten (10) print runs. If you are interested in additional screen printing, we offer all CSU students, faculty, and staff lab access through the RDC Fabrication Labs' Access Membership.

Media Cutting Information

Media cutting includes CO2 laser cutting (limited to 2' x 4') and plotter based cutting.

3D Printing Information

3D Printing includes Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM - Filament) and Stereolithography (SLA - Resin) printing. All GCODE will be created by RDC lab staff for use on RDC machines.

3D Scanning size limitations: minimum scan volume: 30 mm^3 (1.2 in^3); maximum scan volume for fixed scan: 1200 mm^3 (47.2 in^3); maximum scan volume for turntable: 200 mm^3 (7.9 in^3).

Embroidery Information

Embroidery hoop sizes: 3”, 4.5”, 5.5”, and 6.5” rounds, and 13.5” x 11.25” rectangle.

CNC Routing/Milling Information

Maximum routing size 4' x 8' on solid wood, plywood, foam, and acrylic. Maximum milling size 24" x 20" x 4" on aluminum, brass, solid wood, plywood, foam, and acrylic. All GCODE will be created by RDC lab staff for use on RDC machines.

Wood Fabrication Information

Any provided materials must be free from metal and debris, no treated lumber.

The RDC may be unable to weld some coated metals, for example galvanized and painted steel. Other material constraints may apply.
