The Metal Lab at the Nancy Richardson Design Center is open to any Colorado State University student, staff, or faculty who are interested in learning the art of metal fabrication. From engineering enthusiasts to artistic visionaries and more, our Metal Lab welcomes all. Whether you’re crafting custom furnishings and storage solutions or assembling an unconventional bicycle, the RDC has what you need to weld, cut, and bend for all your metalworking needs.

Metal Lab Calendar
Make sure you’ve completed the required training online via Canvas before reserving equipment. Don’t have access to our Canvas page? Stop into the Prototype Lab to purchase a Lab Access Membership. Consult your instructor if you think you’re registered in a class with an RDC Lab course fee.
