Early childhood communication outcome measures for Down syndrome
A study to determine the best approaches to evaluate early communication and language skills in young children ages 2.5 to 8 years old with Down syndrome. Enrollment for this project has ended and we’re completing final visits now through June 2024.
EXcEEDS: Executive function early evaluation in Down syndrome
This study examined the best ways to evaluate executive function skills in young children with Down syndrome. ‘Executive function’ skills are the thinking skills we use for problem-solving and planning. Children ages 2.5 to 8 years and their families were invited to participate.
Goal-directed behavior and cognitive outcomes in Down syndrome
A follow-up study with participants from a previous infant intervention study. Families who participated in a project on skill building in infants with Down syndrome were invited to take part. Enrollment for this project has ended and we’ve completed data collection.
