What is the HES PASS Program?
The HES PASS (Peer Alliance for Student Success) Program is a peer mentoring program designed to support the overall success of first-year students in the Department of Health and Exercise Science. The program focuses on creating early connections and a strong sense of belonging, especially for students who identify as first-generation and/or have experienced barriers to access and success in education.
How can I participate in the HES PASS Program?

- End-of-Semester Celebration
Themed Group Meetings
- Held every 2–3 weeks to provide timely and engaging discussions on student success topics.
One-on-One Office Hours
- Peer mentors hold regular office hours for students who want personalized support or have individual questions.
