What our Lab Does
In the Campus Connections lab, we are dedicated to the development and evaluation of effective preventive interventions to improve developmental outcomes of adolescents and college students. We developed a university-based mentoring program facilitated by family therapists, called Campus Connections, designed to provide a high-impact service-learning course for university students and a therapeutic mentoring experience for youth who have been exposed to adversity. Our current research focuses on the impact and process of mentoring interventions on the socioemotional, academic, and behavioral outcomes of youth and college students.
