Ph.D. Opportunity – Fall 2026
Join the Physical Activity for Treatment and Prevention Lab at CSU and help lead the Fitness Therapy for Cancer Program, a community-based exercise initiative for individuals before, during, and after cancer treatment.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and supervise exercise sessions for cancer survivors
- Mentor undergraduate and master’s students
- Conduct applied research in physical activity behavior change and exercise oncology
- Translate science into real-world impact
We’re looking for:
- Master’s in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
- Certified cancer exercise specialist
- Experience with exercise testing, prescription, and instruction in clinical populations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Quantitative data management (e.g., RedCap) and analysis (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS) experience
