Integration is our Foundation.
Design Build Institute of America Student Chapters is dedicated to promoting widespread and successful use of the design-build project delivery method in shaping the built environment. To accomplish this goal, they are committed to fostering interdisciplinary education and communication to integrated facilities delivery at the University level. This goal will be facilitated through active participation by student chapter members and:
- Local DBIA professionals and corporations
- Students and faculty in design and construction-related disciplines
- Local professional organizations representing architecture, engineering, landscape architecture, general contracting, law, and government
- National DBIA programs and services
The student chapter will develop a strong working partnership between students and industry professionals regarding the education and research objectives required for the continued growth and excellence of design-build. Membership Benefits include:

To bring owners, practitioners, and support businesses together to promote successful integrated design-build project delivery through education, membership involvement, public outreach, legislative action, and regulatory reform throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.

New Student Club! The Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) Student Club
The CSU chapter of AACE is dedicated to providing a platform where graduate and undergraduate students have the opportunity to grow personally, academically, and professionally to become successful researchers and industry professionals in the communities they serve. The Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) has become a robust organization for aspiring project control professionals. It has also been responsible for creating and implementing various scheduling, estimating, and contracts-related guidelines. AACE has not just been a platform for industry members to connect, but also collaborate on research projects that advance our pragmatic approach to solving problems in the construction industry.
Goals: The main goals of this club will be to-
- Facilitate data collection for research studies
- Instruct students regarding industry practices
- Industry-led lecture/presentation sessions
- Career development, and mentoring sessions for both graduate and undergraduate students
- Support student participation in AACE conference
- Provide networking opportunities to CM students with AACE International membership
Outcome: Students who are part of this club will receive a plethora of research and career development-related resources.
