2025 Homecoming Race
The 45th annual CSU Homecoming 5K is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025. This cherished tradition invites Rams of all ages and abilities to unite for a morning of fitness, fun, and school spirit. Participants can choose between the in-person race on campus or join virtually from anywhere in the world.
Proceeds from the 2025 race will continue to support the Alonso Quijano Research Scholars program, providing financial assistance and professional development opportunities for up to 10 students annually.

- All CSU students receive a discounted flat rate of $25
- Groups of 10 or more receive an additional $5 off
- Participants aged 17 or younger receive a discounted flat rate of $25

What's New for the 2025 Race? Join Our Alumni Challenge

Calling all CSU alumni Ramily! Whether you lace up in Fort Collins or log your miles from afar, this year’s event is all about celebrating YOU: our incredible alumni. Learn more about this year’s alumni challenge, where we aim to have at least one alum participate from each graduating class from 1980-2025.
For our youngest Rams! Kids Fun Run
Join us for the Kids Fun Run starting at 9 a.m. on the Oval! Cam the Ram will welcome the young runners and start the Kids Fun Run. Children will run one full lap around the Oval and earn a Homecoming ribbon as they pass through the finish line. Come help us cheer on our young runners after you have completed the race!
This year, we are excited to support Alonso Quijano Research Scholars
The 2025 Homecoming 5K proceeds will support up to 10 Alonso Quijano Research Scholars per year to provide hands-on training research labs, outreach programs, and academic support roles at CSU or a nonprofit entity that we partner with. One benefit is to allow financially vulnerable students who need paid employment to support their education to have a job that accentuates their academic career rather than taking time away from it. The goal is to provide students with advanced skills that will set them apart when entering the next phase of their professional journey.
