Dr. Stefan Delmas obtained a doctoral degree in behavioral neuroscience from the University of Florida. Dr. Delmas’ research integrates neurophysiological, motor control, and cognitive assessments to identify mechanisms underlying mobility loss, with the ultimate goal of developing targeted rehabilitation strategies that improve functional independence and quality of life.
Han-Yun Tseng, Ph.D.
Dr. Tseng obtained a Ph.D. in Applied Developmental Sciences from Colorado State University. She has a strong background in biostatistics and quantitative research methods and has received numerous awards, including an International Fellowship from the American Association of University Women and a Doctoral Research Fellowship for International Scholarly Exchange, Taiwan. At the MNR lab, Dr. Tseng serves as a data analyst on the current studies.

Anjali Tiwari, MS
Anjali earned a master’s degree from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India. She practiced as a clinical neuro-physical therapist for four years at Health City Cayman Islands in Grand Cayman. As a doctoral student at the MNR lab, Anjali is investigating behavioral predictors for progressive cognitive decline among individuals with stroke. Anjali was awarded the CSU Vice-President of Research Fellowship in 2024 and CHHS Dean’s Fellowship in 2025.
Raul Figueroa, Master’s Student
Raul earned an undergraduate degree in kinesiology from Universidad San Sebastián, Concepción, Chile. He completed Master of Biological Science from Universidad de Valparaíso, Valparaiso, Chile. As a Master’s student at the MNR lab, Raul is investigating cognitive correlates of balance in individuals with stroke.

Nicole Sheptov
Nicole is an undergraduate in neuroscience program. She recently completed an undergraduate honors thesis at the MNR lab and was awarded first place in STEMM for her talk on cognitive contribution to balance impairments at CSU MURALS in 2023. At the MNR lab, Nicole is an examiner and scores the assessments conducted on neurologically impaired individuals.
Tatum Flack
Tatum is a first-generation college student who completed an undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science. She shadowed physicians from a public hospital in Kenya as a medical Intern with International Medical Aid in 2024. At the MNR lab, Tatum is involved in the assessment of individuals with mild cognitive impairment and stroke.

Carleigh Drill
Carleigh Drill earned an undergraduate degree in biology from Augsburg University and is pursuing a master’s in public health from Dartmouth College Giese School of Medicine. At the MNR lab, Carleigh leads the participant screening and testing.
Bella Flores
Bella Flores is an undergraduate in Health and Exercise science. She is the recruitment coordinator at the MNR lab, responsible for implementing strategies to recruit and screen eligible participants and maintaining participant engagement throughout the study.
