What We Offer
The Culinary Lab provides a training, research, and testing environment for CSU students while providing shared-use services to the Larimer County community, as well as to university employees.
Services to CSU employees (outside of the FSHN Department) include rental of a commercial kitchen for individuals, clubs, departments, and other groups.
Services for the community include affordable commercial kitchen space and miscellaneous equipment for rent to individuals, non-profit organizations, and companies.
The Culinary Lab includes a professional commercial kitchen with a work island and mirror for cooking demonstrations and classes; six food prep areas, eight ranges, two refrigerators and 10 ovens. The kitchen space and smart classroom can accommodate 24 with flexible seating arrangements.
The Facility will accommodate the following activities:
- Food prep demonstrations
- Cooking classes
- Catering prep and/or classes
- Youth classes
- PowerPoint presentations
