What We Do
The Food Processing Support Services Laboratory exists to help food entrepreneurs and food businesses through regulatory, food safety, and quality and product development issues.
We work with Colorado food entrepreneurs who are bringing their food products to market and who sell to the public. Clients from other states are welcome to use our services. We routinely work with clients on: nutrition labeling, provide regulatory information, initial and equilibrium pH, process authority, water activity, gluten testing, shelf life testing (real time and accelerated storage), and processing criteria for food safety at high altitude.
Request Service – please contact the Food Processing Laboratory by email csufoodlab@colostate.edu prior to filling out the request form.
