We challenge you to understand the biology, biochemistry, and microbiology of fermentation from a food and beverage perspective.
Our program was developed with food and beverage fermentation industry leaders. You will get coursework in applied food fermentation, brewing, sensory analysis, and operations management. Additionally, we regularly connect you with fermentation science professionals who are experts in their fields.

Labs and Services Quality Testing & Service Laboratories
The FST program has multiple third-party testing capabilities relevant to the fermentation industry. These testing services are housed with the Malt Quality Testing Laboratory (MQTL) and the Custom Service Laboratory (CSL).
