Health Promotion and Mindful Eating Program

New! Healthy YOU
Healthy YOU is an eight-week healthy lifestyle class that includes nutrition, mindful eating, and exercise. This classic KRNC program was recently updated to be more weight inclusive and places emphasis on health promotion using non-dieting principles. Developed, updated and led by master’s-level Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, Healthy YOU’s research-based methods along with peer support make this popular program an effective platform for long-term success.

- Understanding portions and label reading
- Strategies for meal planning and eating on the go
- Nutrition 101: balance, fiber, sodium, sugar, fat

Note: Healthy YOU is the foundations class for the optional add-on Healthy YOU 2 (coming spring 2024), which is our reinvented diabetes prevention and management group class. If you have prediabetes or type 2 diabetes and you’re interested in group education and support, enroll in Healthy YOU as a prerequisite for our new Healthy YOU 2.
Healthy You Upcoming Programs
Our next Healthy You program will begin September 21st, in person at the Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center. Classes will meet Thursdays from 12pm-1pm for eight consecutive weeks.
