Brand new program! Intuitive Eating Practice Group
KRNC is excited to announce the launch of its Intuitive Eating Practice Group! Join Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor Kalyn Garcia MS RDN for a 10-week deep dive into intuitive eating. Whether you’re new to Intuitive Eating or you’re looking for a refresher and community, this program will offer space, structure, support and discussions to help you explore and heal your relationship with eating, food and body.
*New* Ruth Krug, LCSW and trauma-informed yoga therapist (Breathing Room PPLC) is co-leading the spring cohort of the Intuitive Eating Practice Group. Ruth will be contributing somatic therapy—skills to help cultivate a profound connection between mind and body to foster self-discovery and genuine healing. This will include movement, breathing and body-based practices that create a pathway toward attunement and ultimately a more embodied intuitive eating process.
Learn how to dismantle diet rules, better attune to your body’s needs, build body trust, find food freedom and so much more.
Is this group a good fit for me?
This group is for:
- Those who are open to a non-dieting approach and are willing to put the desire for intentional weight loss on the backburner
- Those looking to connect with others in a group setting. Much of the format of this program is discussion, practice and sharing
- Those who crave more guidance on how to become an intuitive eater
- Those who can commit to the entirety of the program
This group is not for:
- Those with an active eating disorder (See KRNC’s Eating Disorder Support Group)
- Those seeking individualized support (that would be better suited for 1:1 nutrition counseling)
- Those looking to pursue intentional weight loss
