Dr. Elnora “Ellie” Gilfoyle, professor and provost emeritus, served CSU and her profession of occupational therapy for more than 40 years. She served as a professor and department head of occupational therapy, as a dean of the College of Applied Human Sciences (now the College of Health and Human Sciences), and was named provost/academic vice president of CSU in 1991 – the first woman to hold that post in the institution’s history.
