Jack Curfman Faculty, Design and Merchandising, 1950 - 2001
Jack Curfman was an internationally recognized exhibition designer and interior design professor whose professional reputation is matched only by his personal warmth, kindness, and generosity. During his 51-year career at CSU, Jack designed and created literally hundreds of exhibitions at CSU and in our region.
In Memory: Jack passed away on March 24, 2020, after a brief stay in hospice care. He was beloved by many for his kind and generous nature and his amazing support of students. The Jack Curfman Creative and Visual Design Scholarship assists students in multiple creative disciplines at CSU, and the Curfman Art Exhibition Program benefits the Curfman Gallery in the Lory Student Center, named in honor of Jack.
