Kelly Walker (1965 – 2022) Instructor, Health and Exercise Science, 1991-1998

In Memory: Kelly Walker (B.S. exercise and sport science – health promotion, ’88; M.S. exercise and sport science, ’91; M.S. human development and family studies, ’02) was an instructor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science (now Health and Exercise Science) and the fieldwork coordinator for health promotion and sports medicine working with students until her retirement due to multiple sclerosis. Honoring Kelly’s advocacy, leadership, and dedication to wellness and community outreach, she was a 2022 Legacies Project honoree. Kelly passed away on May 3 at home with family at her side.
