About Us
- Education and Collaboration: We work closely with students and community members, learning from each other through joint research projects.
- Scientific Progress: We strive to make new discoveries and advancements in understanding neurological conditions.
- Community Support: We serve individuals with neurological conditions and their care partners, offering support and resources.
Our lab extends the training, education, and research opportunities of Colorado State University (CSU) beyond Fort Collins. By engaging with communities around CSU Spur and partnering with Denver-based programs, we aim to raise brain injury awareness and provide essential resources for those affected by neurological conditions. This expansion helps us build a stronger, more informed community dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with neurological conditions.
Learn More About Our Research
We are recruiting traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivors, their caregivers, and healthcare providers from both the Denver and Fort Collins areas. The study aims to use participant feedback to identify critical topics for TBI survivors and caregivers to create self-management education modules. Participants will provide feedback through engagement in online surveys and hybrid focus groups. Ultimately these modules will be developed into an intervention for TBI survivors and their caregivers to support daily living. Please email us at transneurolab@colostate.edu if you’re interested in participating.
